Does it run on Steam Deck?

Valve’s official Deck rating for 616 PC games, next to what ProtonDB’s reporters and AreWeAntiCheatYet say about the same game. 150 are Deck Verified and 316 are Playable.

Ratings are Valve’s, tiers are ProtonDB’s, anti-cheat status is AreWeAntiCheatYet’s. Nothing here is Sifter’s own rating. Data baked 2026-08-19.

Rated for Deck, but blocked by anti-cheat (2)

A Deck rating is a test Valve ran once. An anti-cheat that later refused Linux does not retract it, so the store badge and the game disagree — these are the ones where trusting the badge alone gets you something you cannot play online.

Unsupported on Deck, fine on a Linux desktop (64)

Valve rates these Unsupported and ProtonDB reports them native or perfect under Proton. Both are true: a Deck rating covers the 7-inch screen, the text size and the controller, not just the runtime. Unsupported usually means it wants a mouse or a keyboard, which a desktop has.

Deck Verified (150)

Valve tested these and they work on Steam Deck as shipped — readable text, full controller support, no setup screens.

Playable on Deck (316)

Valve tested these and they run, but something needs you: an on-screen keyboard, small text, or a launcher click.

Unsupported on Deck (123)

Valve tested these and they do not work well on the Deck. That is a verdict about the handheld — many of them run fine on a Linux desktop, listed separately below.

Not rated by Valve (27)

Valve has not published a Deck rating for these. Sifter says nothing about them beyond what ProtonDB and Steam do.

Sorting by Proton tier and anti-cheat instead? The Linux list groups the same games by what runs, rather than by what Valve rated. Sifter itself puts every game you own — Steam, Xbox, Epic, GOG, Amazon, itch.io — in one library and launches any of it. Get the app.
