Rusted Awakening is a short, brutal horror FPS built to be finished in one sitting.
You wake inside an underground facility.
Humanity is being kept asleep.
You’re told the world above is dead.
Someone in the vents is trying to help you escape.
Get out before they put you back to sleep.
FAST. LETHAL. HORROR.
Rusted Awakening combines classic FPS combat with survival-horror pressure.
Ammo is limited. Health is limited. Enemies are deadly.
Move fast. Make your shots count.

Injections can keep you going, but they come with tradeoffs.

Rusted Awakening was created by solo developer Will Thorfinn.
It grew out of a six-year boomer-shooter project and became something smaller and more focused:
A short, brutal horror game about waking up somewhere you were never supposed to wake up and finding your way out.
