Free Cosmetic for Season 5: Cape of Penance
Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn launches on October 1st. To mark the occasion, we’re giving every player a free cosmetic for all: the Cape of Penance.
Not every mistake can be erased from the timeline. Some must be owned. Bear this crimson reminder that even when meaning is lost, style endures.
The text on the cape is Korean for “Beauty Product” which comes from a mistranslation in the game that was one of many fixes with Season 5 thanks to help from the incredible LE Korean community.
The Cape of Penance is a way for us to enjoy our improvements in localization for all our players around the globe and we offer it to you for free as a thank you for supporting us in those efforts.
There is no purchase required, no catch. Available to be claimed during Season 5 until December 31st 11:59 PM CT. Use the steps below to redeem the Cape of Penance on your account:
- Launch Last Epoch in Online mode.
- Login with any character.
- Open the Cosmetics store (U by default).
- Click on Back Attachments.
- Click on the Cape of Penance.
- Click Redeem.
- Click on Buy Now (It’s free, this just adds it to your account).
- Click on Equip Now to equip it right away.
That’s it. Once it’s redeemed, the Cape of Penance is yours to keep and equip on any character, any time.
