Crimson Harvest: The Bloodgates Are Open

Capsuleers,

The Blood Raiders have begun their harvest, and this time they have developed a taste for Triglavian blood. Using the recent instabilities in the nature of space to push into Pochven, they are set on establishing a permanent foothold, while the Order of St. Tetrimon does everything within its power to stop them. If the Blood Raiders are victorious, they will continue to have a presence in Pochven. If the Order of St. Tetrimon are victorious, the Triglavian minor victory status will be cleared from some systems in Amarr space. The stakes are high, so it is time to choose your side and get into the fight.

The Crimson Harvest runs until 3 November, bringing combat and hacking challenges to every corner of New Eden, with opportunities for capsuleers at every level of experience. Take on seasonal challenges, reap daily rewards, and hunt for valuable loot.

At the end of the seasonal track, a brand-new prize is waiting: a blueprint for the new Akoman Blood Raider attack battlecruiser, which will, for now, only be obtainable as a part of the Crimson Harvest. Also, new officer modules will be part of the rewards claimable at item traders.

Choose Blood or Order

Once again, capsuleers must decide whether to support the Blood Raiders or the Order of St. Tetrimon, earning points on a seasonal reward track determined by their allegiance.

Side with the Blood Raiders to earn Blood Raider Crimson Mark SKINs for the Damavik, Vedmak, Drekavac, and Leshak, or choose the Order of St. Tetrimon and deck out the Nergal, Kikimora, Ikitursa, and Leshak with Tetrimon Crimson Mark SKINs. These particular SKINs can also drop from Crimson Harvest event sites. There are also Blood Raider Crimson Mark and Tetrimon Crimson Mark SKINs for different hulls that can be claimed through daily login rewards.

The Triglavians have challenges of their own. Recover Criterion Ciphers from Crimson Harvest combat and exploration sites to unlock the new Criterion of Fitness sites: timed solo encounters across three waves, where faster victories bring greater challenges and bigger rewards. The Criterion of Fitness sites can be found across all space, including nullsec, Pochven, and wormholes. Destroying Triglavian NPCs in Criterion of Fitness sites will not affect Triglavian Collective or EDENCOM standings.

The Shadows of the Past

Not every outbreak from last year's Crimson Harvest was eradicated. Upwell-themed Hollow Outbreak sites return among destroyed Avalanche wrecks, in three levels of difficulty.

Class 1 Hollow Outbreaks can be found in highsec, wormholes, and Pochven, and are geared toward Tech I frigates, making them the perfect starting point for rookies engaged with the AIR Career Program.

Class 2 sites appear in highsec, lowsec, Pochven, and wormholes, and are open to Tech II frigates and Tech I destroyers, as well as anything smaller, for even greater rewards.

The most dangerous Class 3 Hollow Origin sites can be found in lowsec and Blood Raider-controlled nullsec in Delve, where capsuleers can take anything up to a Tech III tactical destroyer into the fight. Keep an eye out for automated shuttles escaping the sites carrying extra loot.

The Bloodshed Spreads

The familiar Crimson Gauntlet and Tetrimon Base combat sites return, and can erupt into unexpected confrontations as Triglavians, Drifters, or Rogue Drones emerge through unstable rifts.

You will not lose standings when destroying these Triglavians, though positive Triglavian and EDENCOM standings can still be earned when defeating the Drifter and Rogue Drone enemies. Even combat sites in highsec can escalate into tougher encounters with greater rewards.

Explorers will find returning hacking sites throughout New Eden, including nullsec, with more challenging sites in Blood Raider controlled systems in the Delve region and the Eugidi, Angils, and Essin constellations. Keep an eye out for a bonus Triglavian container to hack – its contents can include particularly rare and valuable loot.

New Pochven-style wormholes have appeared in Blood Raider regions of lowsec and nullsec, defended by Triglavian, Blood Raider, or Tetrimon forces. Attacking Triglavian forces guarding these wormholes on the lowsec and nullsec side will result in a drop in standings with the Collective. Blood Raider and Tetrimon forces also roam Pochven itself.

And wherever capsuleers clash outside highsec, destruction is especially lucrative. During the Crimson Harvest, 90% of items from ships destroyed in PvP drop as loot outside highsec, while pod kills have a 50% chance to surrender their implants.

Reap the Rewards

Every challenge you complete brings you closer to the greatest prize on the seasonal track: a blueprint for the Akoman, the first pirate attack battlecruiser, pairing battleship-sized weaponry with quintessential Blood Raider design – taking everything its target has. In addition, Mutated Blood Sample containers that drop throughout the event can be turned in at a number of item traders for highly desirable rewards including blueprints for new officer modules and existing faction modules, new remote armor repair mutaplasmids, as well as SKINs, SKINR components, boosters, and accelerators.

Logging in throughout the Crimson Harvest also unlocks daily rewards, including Blood Raider and Tetrimon Crimson Mark SKINs for Triglavian ships, boosters, cerebral accelerators, and a major Skill Point cache on day 21.

Crimson Harvest Packs have landed in the EVE Store, providing Omega, PLEX, Skill Points, Sanguinary Savant SKINs, themed SKINR components, and more, while select PLEX purchases also include Sanguinary Savant SKINs.

In addition, you can spend your PLEX on individual Sanguinary Savant SKINs in the NES.

With Totality Day on 13 October, expect some Triglavian-themed surprises and offers to come!

Be prepared, because the Crimson Harvest will escalate as October draws to a close, with extra rewards added to the seasonal track.

Whether cutting your path through combat sites, cracking open hidden containers, fighting through Pochven, hunting fellow capsuleers for their loot, or taking your first steps into seasonal events, there is blood to spill and rewards to claim for the entire month.

Choose your allegiance. The bloodgates are open.
