New T4 Eagle Warriors: Skills and Doctrines

Warlords,

In our previous previews, we mentioned that the core combat style of the Eagle Warriors revolves around "pursuit, harassment, and pinning down the enemy."

Today, we will focus on their traits, skills, and doctrines to see how this 4-Star Unit turns a momentary lapse in the enemy's defense into a lethal advantage.

1. Unit Role

The Eagle Warriors are an infantry unit built for high-speed pursuit and short-range engagement. They excel at hunting down targets that have broken formation, are repositioning, or are attempting to retreat.

Through a combination of movement speed buffs, slows, Knockdown, Knockback, and bleed effects, the Eagle Warriors can continuously disrupt the enemy's escape routes, dragging fleeing targets right back into the slaughter.

Another defining trait of these Aztec warriors is the .

Upon successfully capturing enemies, these prisoners can be converted into allied combatants. Thus, the rewards of their pursuit extend beyond mere kills — they turn enemy casualties into friendly reinforcements.

2. Unit Traits

Any attack from the Eagle Warriors inflicts pain that slows the enemy. When using attack skills, they inflict an additional bleeding effect.

This trait ensures that even if they fail to secure an immediate kill, they can apply relentless pressure. Once the enemy is engaged, escaping becomes a daunting task.

The Eagle Warriors can capture enemies and convert a portion of the prisoners into allied troops.

This makes them highly effective at sweeping up stragglers, isolated units, and broken formations. Warlords who capitalize on these targets will reap rewards far greater than just a kill count.

3. Skill Effects

The Eagle Warriors leap into the air and hurl their spears, inflicting Knockdown on enemies. They then roll forward to deliver a deadly spear thrust.

is their primary initiation and crowd-control skill, perfect for chasing down retreating targets or opening a localized skirmish.

The Eagle Warriors leap and kick their spears forward to deal massive damage, followed by a downward slash that inflicts Knockback on enemies ahead. This skill is heavily focused on raw damage and formation disruption.

Once a target is slowed or knocked down by , can be chained to sustain the pressure. Alternatively, when a gap appears in the enemy line, the knockback effect can be used to shatter their vanguard.

Upon activation, the Eagle Warriors gain a boost to their movement speed.

While active, inflicts an additional slow effect; Furthermore, any kill secured by the Unit will reduce the cooldown of .

is the crucial engine that drives their relentless pursuit.

When active, it allows the Eagle Warriors to easily catch their prey; after securing a kill, it rapidly preps the next , forging a lethal battlefield rhythm of "pursue, execute, repeat."

4. Exclusive Doctrines

provides engagement and control, delivers burst damage and disruption, fuels the momentum of pursuit, and the ensures continuous slows and bleeds. To further enhance their capabilities, the Eagle Warriors possess two exclusive Doctrines designed to stabilize their engagements and maximize capture rewards:

Doctrine Effect: Grants immunity to crowd control effects during the leap of .

This Doctrine solidifies the Eagle Warriors' engagement stability.

It significantly reduces the risk of being interrupted or controlled mid-leap, which would otherwise waste the skill.

For Warlords who prefer an aggressive, opportunistic playstyle, this Doctrine drastically improves handling and skill success rates in the heat of battle.

Doctrine Effect: Increases the prisoner conversion ratio of from 6:2 to 4:2.

This Doctrine maximizes capture rewards.

Once the Eagle Warriors seize the enemy, they can convert prisoners into allied forces with far greater efficiency. This means that hunting stragglers, picking off isolated targets, and cleaning up skirmishes will yield significantly higher strategic dividends.

5. Tactical Scenarios

  1. Chasing Retreating Targets

When an enemy Unit attempts to withdraw, activate to boost movement speed, then close the gap and inflict a knockdown with .

The slowing and bleeding effects from the will further cripple the target's escape.

  1. Punishing Broken Formations

Whenever an enemy Unit becomes detached from the main force or exposes a gap while repositioning, the Eagle Warriors can dive in swiftly, utilizing and to unleash crowd control and knockbacks.

Lacking immediate support, these isolated targets are prime candidates for execution or capture.

  1. Sweeping Stragglers and Replenishing Forces

After a localized skirmish concludes, the Eagle Warriors can continue to hunt down the survivors.

If equipped with the Doctrine, the enhanced conversion efficiency allows Warlords to effectively transform pursuit victories into a tangible troop advantage.

  1. Sustained Skirmishing via Chain Executions

While is active, any kill will reduce the cooldown of .

This creates opportunities for the Eagle Warriors to rapidly execute multiple engagements when the enemy line is already fracturing. However, this demands that Warlords maintain a sharp sense of spacing—do not push so deep into the pursuit that you enter the crosshairs of intact enemy fire.

The core strength of the Eagle Warriors does not lie in head-on clashes, but in actively exploiting the enemy's vulnerabilities.

This is a 4-Star Unit built for the offensive, tailored to chase down retreating foes and dominate localized skirmishes.

However, they still require Warlords to master the timing of their engagements. Diving recklessly into a well-ordered frontline teeming with crowd control is a fatal mistake; the true value of the Eagle Warriors shines only when the enemy's formation begins to crumble.
