Update 2.0.0.2

Mechabellum 2.0 has been out for a week now! During this time, we have collected a lot of interesting suggestions and feedback about and . Your feedback has been very inspiring. Many related new features are already in development, and we will also release a new, separate Balance Update soon. Meanwhile, we want to fix some known issues first and adjust the difficulty of .

The 2.0.0.2 update will take place at 10:00 UTC (06:00 Eastern Daylight Time, 12:00 Central European Summer Time) on Tuesday, September 29th, with approximately 1 hour of server maintenance. Below is the content of Update 2.0.0.2:

Star Expedition - Difficulty Adjustments

We have readjusted the matchmaking rules for enemy lineups. 70% of players will find the Expedition mode easier; the experience for high-tier players will remain largely stable, and the top 1% of elite players will experience an increase in difficulty.

Developer's Note: The enemy lineups you face in Star Expedition are snapshots of other players from your own matchmaking tier. Lower-tier players will match against a higher proportion of lineups from players who lost their matches, while higher-tier players will face more lineups from players who won. With this adjustment, we have further increased the ratio of lineups from defeated players for lower-tier players, and simultaneously increased the ratio of lineups from victorious players for the top 1% of players. Mechabellum currently sees hundreds of thousands of active commanders hitting the battlefield every month — so if you feel the mode has become harder after this update, it is highly likely because you are already among the top 1% of elite players worldwide!
