Warped Reality plays on Steam Deck
Warped Reality is built to play on Steam Deck. Visual novels already live well in handheld form — and we didn’t want this one to feel like a desktop port you have to fight with on the couch.
What that means in practice:
• Native Linux / SteamOS support (the preferred path for Deck) • Steam Input with Generic Gamepad as the default mapping • Menus, choices, and story play cleanly with the Deck controls • Minigames work without needing a keyboard in your lap • Save names use the Deck floating keyboard when you need it • Authored at 1280×720 — fits the Deck screen without weird stretching
Optional tip: map the right touchpad to mouse if you like poking at UI the old-fashioned way.
If you’re already playing on Deck — cool. That’s the idea. If you’ve been waiting for a portable run through Detroit, the Virtual Machine, and whatever the network decides to throw at you next — now’s a good time.
As always: if something feels off on Deck, tell us. Comments, bug reports, weird edge cases — we read them.
Thanks for playing. See you in the warped bits.
