Galdr Inkblade demo is live!
Galdr Inkblade is a roguelike where your vocabulary is your weapon. Every turn you're dealt nine letter cards. Spell a word, and that word becomes your attack: the longer and rarer the word, the harder it hits. Your enemies spell from the same table, so every letter you take is one they can't use.
WHAT'S IN THE DEMO
- The first two acts, each ending in a boss fight
- Two playable characters: the Knight and the Archer
- Easy and Normal difficulty
- Elemental cards (ember, frost, storm and venom) and green heal cards
- Relics, items, merchants, campfires and random encounters on a branching map
- Word forms that level up as you play them: nouns, verbs, double letters and more
- A score tally that counts up your letters and multipliers on every attack
- A Word Journal that records every word you land
- The first Tome of Lexivore cards to unlock and carry between runs
