The Frontline Has Changed — A Bigger, Harder-Hitting Teryon Crisis

24 campaign missions. Five specialist vehicles. Four standalone operations. A battlefield that hits harder.

Commanders,

The frontline we are bringing to launch has changed. Our latest Windows build, 0.25.8, expands the campaign from eight missions to twenty-four, gives your army new specialist roles and rebuilds the feel of combat—from the snap of a rifle to the aftermath of a strategic strike.

Here is what is inside, shown through real game captures.

Feel the impact. Read the battle.

Tank barrels kick back. Artillery throws earth and debris into the air, leaving dust and smoke behind. Missiles, automatic weapons, electrical attacks and naval weapons have distinct flashes, trails and impacts, so different threats have a clearer visual identity.

The latest effects pass: 0.25.7 QA build → 0.25.8. Same camera, same moment after impact, matching crops. These are controlled gameplay captures.

A campaign three times the size

The original eight missions are joined by sixteen new campaign missions. Fight for crossings, protect your economy, build air defenses and contest naval routes as the campaign broadens its mix of terrain and objectives.

Want a focused challenge? Four standalone operations sit alongside the regular campaign:

  • Iron Lifeline — defend the command relay through ground and air attacks.
  • Silent Battery — use smoke and mortar fire to silence the coastal guns.
  • Storm Relay — seize the relay, hold it, then break enemy command.
  • Supply Corridor — breach the crossing and protect the route through the counterattack.

Build a force with a purpose

Five specialist vehicles give you more ways to solve a difficult position:

  • Smoke Support Vehicle: screen an exposed advance.
  • Assault Breacher: tear into walls, obstacles and fortified positions.
  • Mobile Mortar Carrier: reach clustered ground targets behind cover.
  • Field Repair Crawler: spend credits to keep damaged vehicles in the fight.
  • Flak Track: bring dedicated anti-aircraft cover with your column.

The five vehicles in a controlled 0.25.8 gameplay lineup. The production panel includes a dedicated New Units filter.

You must research these vehicles before purchasing them. The required production facilities and campaign technology rules still apply; some operations provide specialist forces for their particular mission.

Choose your path through the research tree

Connected branches show what you can unlock next, what it costs and which facilities you need. Battlefield Support opens smoke and repair vehicles; Breach Engineering, Indirect Fire and Mobile Air Defense open the other specialist roles. Faction doctrine adds another choice about how your army develops.

Earn the moment that changes the fight

Scout the target. Protect your infrastructure. Finish the research and wait for the weapon to charge. The Strategic Arsenal brings those steps together before you designate a visible target.

Crimson barrage now builds from a sharp flash into violent earth plumes, debris and rising smoke. Azure disruption spreads electrical arcs across its affected area. Their different visual signatures make the strike and its aftermath easier to recognize.

More life between the battles

Animated water, blended shorelines, fuller vegetation and reshaped conifers give the maps more character. Foundations anchor buildings to uneven ground, with improved lighting, surface detail and ground contact across the scene.

Earlier graphics milestone, carried into this update: 0.23.16 before / 0.24.0 graphics candidate after, from the same camera. The latest weapon effects are shown above.

Hear your orders. Keep the battle moving.

An expanded soundtrack responds to the pace of battle. Spoken production and action cues help you follow your army, with revised weapon and explosion sounds and separate music, voice and effects controls.

This update also includes:

  • Local support from nearby idle armed units when they can see an ally's attacker, while Hold and manual orders retain priority.
  • Improved vehicle turning, opposing traffic and formation arrival; smoother supply-convoy movement and cornering.
  • Clear defense rotation and line-building controls, with construction kept off bridges.
  • Ore placement that avoids roads, bridges and occupied ground, plus route-based streetlight placement.
  • Windows fullscreen and F11 corrections, restored drag selection and a clearer saved-battle list across modes.
  • Faster preparation of building roof details and ownership markers.

Every battle leaves a story

Victory or defeat, the battle report charts army strength, your economy, losses and important events. See where the balance shifted and what your next battle might need. Report history is retained when you save and resume; older saves mark incomplete history clearly.

Platform note: this announcement presents the updated Windows build ahead of release. Mac preparation continues separately while we await Apple verification. Campaign, skirmish and operations are single-player, with AI allies and opponents. Campaign balance and demanding battle scenarios remain areas of continued testing and refinement.
