v0.3.0: Custom Card Art, Spirit Vein Growth & Combat Improvements

Custom card artwork

Open Settings → Workshop & World Mirrors → Card art to export a template, import local art packs, enable or disable them, and restore the original artwork.

  • Replace illustrations for minions, transformed forms, tokens, spells and buildings.
  • Art only: heroes, names, ability descriptions, stats and combat rules remain unchanged.
  • Multiple packs are supported; the last enabled pack takes priority. New packs are not enabled automatically.
  • Only share artwork you have distribution rights to, and follow Steam's community and content rules.

Spirit Vein Infusion

  • With a Spirit on the board, each actual friendly stat increase advances infusion.
  • Reaching infusion milestones nourishes Spirits. Growth from these rewards can advance the vein further.
  • Each new cycle raises its milestones, creating a continuing growth engine with an increasing investment requirement.
  • Several Spirit minions now support growth at turn boundaries, through spellcasting and during combat.

Existing investments and stats are retained; previous gains are not awarded again. Spirit strength will continue to be tuned using further feedback.

Clearer, faster combat presentation

  • Distinct sounds for attacks, impacts, heavy hits and Ethereal blocks.
  • Minion tiers 1–6 use dice pips with centered numbers for easier recognition.
  • Guard keeps its white glyph and luminous frame; the distracting old cyan outline is removed.
  • When both combatants actually die in the same attack, their death animations play together. Deathrattle, summon and Reborn resolution rules are unchanged.

Online World Mirrors and Workshop integration: testing

This build includes the client entry points. Steam subscriptions, uploads and global rankings still require live-account validation. Please check the in-game connection status and future announcements; availability for all accounts is not yet guaranteed. World Mirrors are designed as casual asynchronous challenges: start at 1000, win +20, loss −10, draw 0. Each account can score against a particular opponent roster once, with a Top 500 browser and roster inspection. Battles run locally, not on an authoritative anti-cheat server. Single-player play and the existing offline personal Top Ten Mirrors remain available.
