Arena is the heart of Slaughter for the Gods — and your feedback matters
Hi everyone,
I’m John, the solo developer behind GraveBound Studios. I wanted to share a little context about the different modes in Slaughter for the Gods.
Arena is the main game and the heart of the experience. It’s the mode the game was built around, and if you’re looking for the core gladiator experience, it’s where I recommend starting.
Horde, Capture and Extraction were added because I felt I could give players more to enjoy. By reusing and adapting the game’s existing assets and combat mechanics, I could offer different objectives, challenges and ways to play within the same game.
I’d love your feedback on those extra modes. If any of them don’t feel as enjoyable or polished as you’d like, please tell me. Whether it’s the combat, pacing, balance, loot or something that simply doesn’t feel right, I want to hear about it.
You can leave feedback in the comments below or in the Steam discussions. Let me know which mode you were playing, what happened and what you think would make it better. Screenshots or short clips are helpful for bugs, but written feedback is welcome too.
I’ll read what you share and work on changes and improvements based on your feedback. My goal is to make a game people enjoy spending time with, and hearing directly from you helps me understand what needs attention.
Thank you for playing and supporting my game.
