One Artifact Can Rewrite the Rules: Ranks, Slots, and Rule Artifacts

Hello, cultivators! We're Fengling Studio.

Last time, we looked at the thirteen pill tiers. Today, let's turn to another reward your chamber can bring: artifacts. In Alchemy Master, artifacts do more than add bonuses. Some can rewrite how your furnaces refine.

Eleven Ranks, 44 Artifacts

Artifacts span eleven ranks, from Magic (T1) and Talisman (T2) all the way to Immortal (T10) and Law (T11). Each rank has four artifacts, for 44 in total. As you reach higher major realms, the realm auction gradually opens higher ranks, and trades are paid with pills of equivalent value.

Artifacts occasionally appear in your chamber, too. Sweep the pointer over one to collect it. Some are even one rank above what the auction currently offers. The Pill-Gathering Array will not collect them for you, and they fade after a while, so pick them up in time.

More Slots as Your Realm Rises

Only equipped artifacts take effect. You have one equipment slot in Condensation and Foundation, gain another every two major realms, and reach six at Primordial. Swap artifacts for free at any time; your chamber keeps producing while you do.

Every artifact carries random affixes, and higher ranks roll more of them, from one to four. There are seven affix types: Flame Control, Pill Stability, Twin Yield, Spiritfall, Commerce, Essence Nourishment, and Furnace Anchoring. They improve Alchemy Speed, Success Rate, Multi-Pill Chance, Random Pill Chance, Regular Pill Sale Value, Regular Pill Cultivation, and Refining Stability, respectively.

Obtain a duplicate and it automatically merges into +N. Numeric artifacts grow stronger at their core, and most rule artifacts improve further within their limits. The merged artifact keeps every affix type from both copies and the higher value of any shared type, holding up to seven affixes with no extra choices required.

Twelve Rule Artifacts That Change Refining

Twelve of the 44 artifacts are rule artifacts, divided into Refining, Collection, and Resource categories. You can equip only one per category, but different categories can be combined, and your remaining slots can still hold numeric artifacts.

  • Trinity Pill Array (Refining): Always attempt all top three tiers, at the cost of a lower highest-tier success rate.
  • Unity Cosmos Cauldron (Refining): Refine only the highest tier, giving up both lower-tier attempts in exchange for a higher success rate at the top.
  • Wind-Stilling Pearl (Collection): Random room pills no longer expire, but fewer of them can exist at once.
  • Treasure-Felling Coin (Collection): The Pill-Gathering Array automatically collects all random artifacts, but those of rank 2 and above drop by one rank.
  • Treasure-Nurturing Pill Case (Resource): Each regular pill tier you keep in your stash makes all furnaces a little faster.

Many rule artifacts pair a benefit with a cost. Focus on the highest tier or refine all three; collect random artifacts by hand or leave them to the Array. The choice is yours.

What Carries Over After Rebirth

When you reincarnate, artifacts of Heaven-Reaching (T8) rank and above are kept with their +N and affixes. They return to your Artifact Inventory, ready to equip again. Lower-rank artifacts are not kept, but the Codex still preserves their best records.
