Thirteen Pill Tiers to Refine: Recipes, Furnace Caps, and First Refinements

Hello, cultivators! We're Fengling Studio.

Every kind of growth in Alchemy Master starts at the furnace. Today, let's look at what happens inside it: thirteen recipe tiers, furnaces with their own caps, and the moment each new pill emerges for the first time.

Thirteen Tiers, Each with Its Own Name

Regular pills range from Tier 0 to Tier 12. From Verdant Breath and Dawn Cleansing to Pure Moon Spirit and Taiji Infinity, every tier has its own name and look, and each is recorded in the Codex once refined.

A new game begins with the Tier 0 recipe. As your realm rises, spend Spirit Stones to buy higher recipe tiers one by one. Higher tiers have a lower base success rate, but each pill has a higher base sell value and Cultivation value.

Three Tiers per Furnace, Capped by Rank

Each furnace refines around its own primary tier. The primary tier is attempted every cycle, while the next two tiers down have base chances of 50% and 20% for an extra attempt, so a single cycle can produce pills of several tiers. Some talents and artifacts can raise those chances further.

A furnace's rank sets the highest tier it can refine. If your mastered recipes exceed that cap, the furnace keeps working at its own cap instead of stopping. Promote the furnace to raise its cap. Hover over the furnace count in the top bar to check each furnace's stock, cycle time, cap, primary pill, success rate, and multi-pill chance.

Every New Pill Gets a First Refinement

The first time a furnace produces a new tier of regular pill, the pill flies from the furnace to the center of the screen for a full-screen First Refinement showcase with its Codex art, name, and tier. Your chamber keeps producing while it plays.

Failed attempts can also produce Turbid Flame Waste. This Waste Pill gets its own showcase the first time it appears. Sell it cheaply, or take a risk and consume it for a chance to gain or lose Cultivation.

Reincarnation returns your recipes to Tier 0, but every pill you have discovered stays in the Codex.
