1.3.66 — Synthesis Arrives! Cube & Loot Update
Synthesis arrives in the Cube!
Use spare equipment for a chance to create an item of a higher rarity. Select nine items in the Cube’s new Synthesis screen, review the chance and cost, then confirm your attempt.
First-time connection: If Synthesis asks you to connect your Army, use Open Arena. Complete Update My Army in Arena, then return to Cube > Synthesis. Opening Arena alone does not start a transfer or a synthesis attempt.
- Use 9 eligible equipment items of the same rarity. Weapons, armor, and other equipment types can be mixed.
- A successful attempt creates one random equipment type of the next rarity. Success is not guaranteed.
- The output level is the average level of the nine selected items, rounded down.
- Equipped, enhanced, protected, or rune-socketed items cannot be selected.
- Common synthesis starts at 1,000 gold + 10 Rune Stones. Each higher input rarity triples the gold cost and doubles the Rune Stone cost.
Every completed attempt consumes all 9 selected items and the full gold and Rune Stone cost, whether it succeeds or fails. A failed attempt produces no new item. Review the chance and cost, and adjust your selection before the final confirmation.

Clearer selection and results
- Auto-select items fills the slots with the 9 lowest-level eligible items of the chosen rarity. If fewer are available, it selects those. You can adjust the selection manually; this button does not start synthesis.
- A compact nine-slot layout, readable item cards, and centered icons make selection easier.
- During synthesis, the items dissolve into particles and gather at the center. On success, the result area displays the new item’s artwork, level, and stats.
- Fixed item-picker updates when changing the language or window size.
Open chests in batches
Cube > Chests now offers Open 5, Open 10, and bulk opening of up to 20 chests per action. Single-chest opening remains available.
Each batch uses your selected area, difficulty, and normal/boss chest group. The amount accounts for remaining chests and free bag space. If the bag fills up, excess items are converted to gold under the existing rule. After the opening animation, inspect all your rewards together and see totals for items, conversions, and gold.
Keep managing your army during combat
- Fixed a case where Claim did not complete daily or weekly reward collection. Pending and completed actions are now clearer.
- Management actions such as skills, equipment, enhancement, runes, pets, sales, and clan material donations no longer wait for the current battle to finish. Changes to your army’s strength take effect in the next battle.
- Improved recovery of pending actions after a connection interruption or game restart.
- Reduced unnecessary work that could cause stutters during reward updates and saving.
New equipment levels follow your active Army
Equipment earned from new battles uses the average level of the 1–3 characters sent into battle, rounded down. Reserve characters do not count toward this average.
This applies to equipment in newly earned normal/boss chests, first-clear equipment, and Tower milestone equipment rewards. Existing items and the contents of previously earned sealed chests remain unchanged. Synthesis still uses the average level of the 9 items you select.
Loot balance
- Gold from combat and automatic loot has been reduced by a further 70%. Offline gold calculated from new income measurements follows the same balance.
- Upgrade Stone drop chances from automatic loot have been reduced by a further 70%. The number of stones in a successful drop remains unchanged.
- Gold from automatically melting newly dropped items when the bag is full has been reduced by 70%.
- Random normal and boss chest drop chances have been reduced by a further 50%.
Existing gold and materials, the contents of previously earned chests, manual sale values, and the gold and material amounts of fixed quest, achievement, and first-clear rewards are preserved. These balance changes do not alter rune or Rune Stone drops.
