Rogue Circuit v1.3.3: race fixes, sandbox controls and refreshed rivals

Rogue Circuit v1.3.3 brings race-progress fixes, more sandbox controls, a redesigned Apex Bastion, and newly trained rival strategies.

Race progress and lap counting

  • Fixed cases where hooks or position swaps could award an extra lap after pulling a car back across the finish line.
  • Fixed the opposite problem: a revenge effect should not prevent later, legitimate laps from counting.
  • Improved handling of backward finish-line crossings and large, discontinuous jumps in circuit progress.

More control in sandbox

  • Manually drive any car by following it with the camera and selecting Manual. Cars keep their selected mode when you switch cameras; your controls affect only the car you are following.
  • Trigger a rival's Revenge from the player list to test it against the car you are watching.
  • Sensor displays now follow the selected car.

Card balance and fixes

  • Apex Bastion has a new effect: immunity to Repulsor Surge effects, plus a hit reaction that makes the attacker emit a repulsor field. It also grants +10% grip and +20% aero.
  • Corner Master's multiplier is now x3, down from x3.3.
  • Fixed Doom Rally losing the Set Seeker reward guarantee when another overtake replaced the copied Powerup before the next card offer.

Retrained rivals

  • Winner, Engineer and Explorer have all been retrained for the current cards.
  • Explorer skips fewer offers and explores a wider variety of cards.
  • Engineer has improved its race results while continuing to pursue synergies and completed Sets.
  • Winner was trained last against the updated rivals to keep the competition challenging.

Thank you for reporting issues and helping improve Rogue Circuit. This patch is available for Windows and Linux.
