Rogue Circuit v1.3.2: clearer cards, smoother steering and better recovery
Rogue Circuit v1.3.2 is now available for Windows and Linux!
This patch makes card effects easier to understand, adds control over manual steering, and improves how AI cars recover from difficult situations.
Clearer cards and Info panels
- Benefits are highlighted in green and harmful effects in red, including detailed card Info.
- Info now explains card keywords and gives more detail about Powerup and Revenge effects.
- Larger Info panels and bigger text, with tighter spacing and scrolling for longer descriptions.
- Cards belonging to a Set show its icon and name in Info.
- Driver, Tuning, Technique, Powerup, Revenge and Set keep the same type names across all supported languages.
Manual steering sensitivity
There is now a steering sensitivity setting in Options. The default is 60%, making manual turns less abrupt. You can adjust it from 20% to 100%; automatic driving is unchanged by this setting.
Card fixes and Set adjustments
- Triad Coup now connects all three involved cars with a complete triangle, including when you are leading. Link colors better indicate which connections can exchange positions.
- Set Seeker's next-level guarantee is now retained when it is activated through a random Powerup, even if its active effect ends before you level up.
- Phantom Order now uses Doom Hex instead of Triad Coup. Doom Rally now uses Triad Coup instead of Doom Hex, improving the fit between their ingredients.
Updated racing AI
- Retrained the card-selection strategies for the updated card interactions and Set recipes.
- Updated the recovery model with more difficult situations, including nose-to-nose pressure, blocked off-road returns and cars pinned between rivals. Testing showed faster recoveries and better overall success across the expanded scenarios. The scripted fallback remains available when needed.
Thank you for the reports and suggestions that helped shape this patch. See you on the circuit!
