Rogue Circuit v1.3.0: see what powers your build

New in Rogue Circuit v1.3.0

Want to know which cards are powering your build? This update makes your car bonuses explorable, with a clearer view of your own cards, copied rival effects and active amplifiers.

Explore your car bonuses

  • Click the CAR BONUSES panel during a race to pause and open a breakdown of Power, Grip, Mass, Aero and Lap XP.
  • Each section shows the contributing cards as small, recognizable cards. Click one to open its full-size preview, then return to the breakdown without resuming the race.
  • The breakdown includes active amplifiers, relevant debuffs and cards borrowed from rivals, including Apex Ascension's copies and antenna-shared Tuning. Weather, road-surface and slipstream influences are identified separately where applicable.
  • Rows wrap and the panel scrolls on smaller screens. Swipe on touchscreens or use the mouse wheel on PC to reach all five sections.
  • Added localized breakdown labels for English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.

Less clutter, consistent paused audio

  • Reduced the flying-card animation to one third of its previous density: two cards per stream instead of six. The effect's speed and gameplay are unchanged.
  • Engine and tyre sounds now stop when viewing the bonus breakdown or the CAR BONUSES, TELEMETRY and CARDS info popups, matching the card-preview behavior. Music is unchanged.

Updated Tier 4 driver

  • Updated the Tier 4 driver model and refreshed its displayed benchmark statistics.

The latest Windows and Linux builds are available now. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your builds!

Previous update notes

New in Rogue Circuit v1.2.0

This update adds new ways to finish a Set, keeps completed Set bonuses available while you experiment, and improves card choices and readability.

Two new Tier 3 cards and a new Set

  • Set Seeker (Powerup): while active, holding at least two ingredients of an eligible Set guarantees a missing ingredient in one slot of your next card offer. It runs for 10 seconds with a 10-second cooldown.
  • Identity Theft (Revenge): after a rival hits you, a 30-second proximity effect blocks nearby rivals from triggering new Revenge. It also records useful missing Set ingredients from their loadouts for a guaranteed eligible choice at your next level. Already-active effects continue, and debuff-immune rivals are protected.
  • Master Key (Set): combine Power Monocoque, Last Place Fury, Set Seeker and Identity Theft to permanently unlock Set cards in level-up offers. Tier 4 Sets still require the Tier 4 unlock.
  • New artwork for both GT3 and Halloween, with matching effect and debuff icons.

Build a Set, then keep experimenting

  • A completed Set bonus now stays with you when you replace an ingredient. It changes when you complete another Set or select a different Set card. Only one Set bonus is active at a time.
  • Selecting a Set card does not replace your other equipped cards, opening up new combinations.
  • Apex Ascension has been redesigned: while you are behind, it adds copies of the leader's equipped Tuning, Technique and Powerup effects alongside your own. Your amplifiers apply, and copied triggers and cooldowns run on your car. The copied effects switch off when you lead or race alone.

Better choices and clearer cards

  • Card offers use different card types before repeating a type, whenever eligible choices are available. With Set offers unlocked, six choices can include one of each type.
  • An equipped card cannot be offered again, but a card you replaced can return in a later offer.
  • Fixed missing Driver choices when a Tier 4 Driver was already equipped, and corrected MAX CROWN's Tier 4 classification.
  • Set-building guarantees no longer keep trying to rebuild your currently active Set.
  • Driver descriptions now use one readable line per statistic, without bars or inner boxes. Numbers use a progressive red-to-blue comparison across drivers.
  • Options now scroll on smaller screens. Improved Set status spacing and fixed rival names being translated in championship results.

Effects and rival strategy updates

  • Web Barrage now uses white hooks and only pulls an offender who is ahead in the race. Vendetta Hook keeps its own color.
  • Nemesis Engine now uses visible 10-second active windows with a 10-second cooldown, so its aura shows throughout its active effect.
  • Winner, Engineer and Explorer have all been retrained for the updated cards and Set rules, with Winner trained last against the updated opponents.

Thank you for testing, sharing builds and helping improve Rogue Circuit!

Rogue Circuit v1.1.0: clearer cards, faster races and better recovery

Rogue Circuit v1.1.0 is now available for Windows and Linux!

Thank you for the feedback since launch. This update focuses on making cards easier to understand, giving you more control over the pace of a championship, and fixing frustrating race situations.

Race at your pace

  • A new x2 button in the top bar lets you speed up the race. Time-manipulation powerups still work independently.
  • Card offers no longer time out. Take as long as you need to compare your options and plan your build.
  • An optional Adapt to Screen setting supports ultrawide and other aspect ratios. The fixed-ratio layout remains the default.
  • Circuits now have distinct names in championships. Sandbox keeps the familiar map IDs.

Clearer cards and effects

  • New image icons identify activation conditions, duration, cooldown and delay, leaving more room for the effect text.
  • Info buttons open the full card explanation, with scrolling for longer descriptions.
  • Cleaner layouts, highlighted keywords and updated translations make cards easier to read, especially on smaller screens.
  • Revenge explanations clarify their hit trigger, and blindness explains that the affected driver cannot see rivals.
  • Crown Breaker now sends small crown markers toward its target as the cars get close.
  • Final Reckoning uses moving target markers from nearby attackers instead of the long red connecting ray.
  • Teleport links are green when their conditions are met and red when they are not.

More build options

  • Venom Web now also copies the hooked rival's Tuning card for 3 seconds after each successful hook, in addition to its random debuff.
  • Doom Rally keeps its overtake-triggered borrowed Powerup and now also reduces Powerup cooldowns by 5 seconds.
  • Several T3 Tuning cards received buffs: Ground Effect, Velocity Shell, Graphene Chassis, Carbon Prototype and Feather Ground.
  • Corner Master, Agility Master, Sprint Master and Rally Master now provide x3.3 multipliers. Traffic Dominance now provides 22% bonuses, with the corresponding reduction in mass.
  • Quantum Powerups activate near rivals without also requiring a straight.
  • Grip Fan-family Powerups now use corner activation, and invisibility cooldowns run normally during the effect.
  • Winner, Engineer and Explorer have been retrained. Engineer receives guidance on compatible card combinations; Winner learns their value from race results.

Race fixes and driving updates

  • Fixed missed overtake XP when other cars keep swapping positions. Each pair of cars now confirms its own overtake, without waiting for the entire leaderboard to settle.
  • Passing a rival can now count even if another rival passes you at the same time and your overall position stays unchanged.
  • Updated driver and recovery models, plus recovery logic for blocked traffic and repeated collisions. Escape explosions are triggered more reliably when cars remain trapped.
  • Revised braking, traction and turning compensation for modified car stats.
  • Automatic driving now corrects off-road shortcuts larger than 30% of a circuit. Legitimate card-driven teleports and hooks are not treated as shortcuts.
  • Sandbox has an Assistances toggle for testing the driver without recovery or passing assistance.
  • Added the game's desktop window icon.

Try a different build, experiment with the updated sets, and let us know how your next championship goes. Thanks for playing Rogue Circuit!
