Burrows of Cairntír: The Road Ahead

Since my last announcement on the development of Burrows of Cairntir, the game has grown tremendously. And along with that came improvements and new features. I’m now happy to say the game has turned into something better than I ever expected. And the journey isn’t over yet. In December, the next update and first major expansion for the game will be published. Focused on a new culture inspired by the ancient Egyptians, the Akheti, there will be plenty of content to explore. This will include the following:

• New dungeons to explore inspired by Ancient Egyptian myth
• An Akheti Monster Hunting Region, complete with its own monsters
• New monsters in the Grand Arena
• Similar to how the six other cultures have their own quests, there will also be a dedicated Akheti Quests section.
• New combat styles
• New guilds
• New music and sounds
• New treasures and rewards
• New weapons, equipment, and other loot
• New lore and mythology to discover

I’m excited to continue expanding Burrows of Cairntir to provide you with new adventures to enjoy. I hope the Akheti expansion brings a new and exciting chapter to your journey through Cairntir, and I look forward to sharing it with you this December.
