No Stars Football is out now on Steam!

Hello everyone,

It's finally happening. The green button has been pressed, and No Stars Football is out on Steam.

It started as a simple wish: a football game that plays like the top-down classics so many of us grew up with, fast and a little chaotic, with a proper manager's career wrapped around it. What began as a small hobby project kept growing, one evening at a time, until there was a whole football world inside it.

As the name says, there are no stars here. Every club, ground, league and coach is invented. Nobody arrives with a reputation, so the wonderkid of your career is someone no one has heard of yet.

Pressing release brings a funny mix of feelings. Mostly joy, but also the quiet worry I think everyone who makes games knows: Did I test enough? Is it fun for anyone besides me? I know a game like this isn't for everyone. After this long staring at it, there are surely things I've stopped seeing: a keeper who's a bit too good, a transfer fee that makes no sense, a bug sleeping in the third division of a country I rarely visit.

So please, tell me what you think. Post in the forums, leave a review, report a bug. Every bit of feedback helps make the game better, and anything broken will get fixed.

The game is in English for now. There's a lot more I want to add, and this is only the start.

Thank you for playing. I hope it brings back a few of those afternoons in front of the old screen.
