NEW ROOM AFTER FINISHING THE GAME
A new room in the warehouse (the first map you play in) now appears after finishing the game. If you have beat the game, this room offers a small new exploration opportunity, a calm room in the otherwise unsettling environment, as well as giving you access to the flashlight earlier in the game. This changes the speed running potential, as you can now skip getting the flashlight later on.
If you have the achievement for reading all lore notes in 1 playthrough, all notes will also appear in this room in case you forgot or missed what they said.
WAREHOUSE (first map)
- Reworked the lighting and overall visuals to fit in better with the rest of the game, as well as make it easier to tell what you're looking at
- Extended the initial audio and visual fade in when spawning
- Added the new room, although you can only access this if you beat the game (more info above in case you missed it)
1ST CITY STREET
- The flashlight will no longer spawn if you picked it up from in the warehouse
- Improved the texture of a car outside the dark building
UNCLAIMED PROPERTY BUILDING
- Fixed a bug caused by a previous patch which let you open the grate without picking up the crowbar
MINE STORAGE
- Added a small hallway storage compartment
MINE MAZE
- Added a new connective path so it's less common to go down a dead end
- Removed a dead end path
- Shortened multiple dead end paths with additional fences or moving the dead end closer to avoid long walks
- Added a new asset near the key to help draw attention to the area
- Added an additional small light right next to the key to draw attention to it
- Slightly lowered the volume of noise emitted by the light by the key
- Added new assets around the mine maze
2ND CITY STREET
- Increased the brightness of the light above the car tunnel to improve visibility
- Added a 2nd light source so you can see more of the tunnel and how it's blocked off
TUNNEL BEFORE APARTMENT BLOCK
- Moved the "visual anomaly" further back since it was way too easy to see after the recent flashlight brightness increase
GENERAL BUG FIX
- Fixed a bug which caused certain puzzles and items to stay in the completed state if you finish the game and play again, causing the game to be partially solved when you play again. This was not an intended feature and I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw Woldicus' video playing the game. Shoutout Woldicus, his video is great and his feedback has been very helpful
Thank you for playing. If you have any feedback, leave a comment here or feel free to dm me on my Instagram! (@Prod.Covenant)
I am working on a new game. More info soon
