Hey everyone,
Thanks for playing The Night Shift, and thanks for the feedback. A lot of this patch came straight from your reports.
What's better
- Story text no longer gets mixed up in rare cases.
- Controllers behave. A joystick or wheel that's plugged in won't move the menu by itself anymore.
- You can quit from the main menu now.
- Endings get the time they deserve. Nothing is rushed off screen before you've read it.
- The station map looks right in every display mode.
- Changing language keeps your reading history.
- Plenty of smaller fixes to menus, translations and scene transitions.
What's new
- Reading back shows the choices you made.
- A few scenes now remember how you got there, and a couple of choices matter more than they used to.
- Achievements tell you when they reach Steam.
Your saves carry over as they are.
Known issue: the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab) doesn't open in-game. Achievements still unlock normally.
If anything feels off, let me know in the discussions. I read every report.
See you on the night shift.
