v1.1.0: The Haystack Update
The beta is now part of the main game.
New
- A new haystack: the campaign is now one big heap of hay that caves in and slides as you dig. Every tool and machine works on it.
- Legacy mode: the old straw pile, unchanged. Your existing saves continue there.
- No more daily quota, and a day and night cycle (you can turn it off per save).
- Finishing the campaign keeps your haystack. Order a new haystack in any size from the reset button.
- New buildings: Floor, Bridge, Storage Silo, an extendable Belt Lift, a compost line, the Hay Mixer and the Hay Molder.
- Pickup filter for drones, robot arms and robot vacuums.
- Seven hotbar slots, a HUD scale setting, and a Clear finds button.
Changes
- Economy rebalance: tools unlock sooner, automation is cheaper to start, and contracts never run out.
- Leaderboards: Hay Collected is one board per mode. Money has no $21M cap anymore.
- Much less multiplayer lag, and big factories run faster.
Fixes
- The "Actually Impossible" achievement can now be earned.
- Hay no longer gets stuck under the ground or floating on the bale press.
- Robot vacuums, drones, clutchers, the magnet and birds behave properly.
- Lots of smaller visual and night-time fixes.
