TOWERPULSE — The Tower Reveals Its Secrets

This update brings new encounters, a discoverable codex, and clearer combat and progression feedback.

New: Tower Codex

- 26 entries covering enemies, elites, and bosses. - Discover their behaviors, characteristics, and tips for fighting them. - Encountering an enemy reveals its entry; defeating it unlocks a lore fragment. - Inspect enemy models and voxel artwork directly in the codex. - Available from the main menu, pause menu, and archives, in English and French.

New Encounter: The Arbiter

- A rare new elite can appear in Ascension from floor 11 onward. - Accept a D20 duel: attempt a Parry or an Assault, each with different risks and rewards. - An animated die launches, bounces, and settles to reveal your result. - Features a new voxel model, dedicated sound effects, and a voice announcement. - Duels are optional: you can keep fighting normally.

Grapple and Equipment

- The grapple is now manually controlled from the start of each run. - Hold the right mouse button to aim, then release to launch yourself. - 8 shop items across T1–T4 improve range, pull speed, cooldown, protection, and offensive capabilities. - Automatic item retrieval is now unlocked through a dedicated upgrade. Enemies and Models - Tracker: new Blender-created voxel model, featuring additional armor and mechanical details. - New escort model, improved obstacle avoidance, and better separation from surrounding enemies. - The Repairer is tougher, heals elites more effectively, and provides area healing to ordinary enemies. - In Ascension, some smaller enemies can gather behind larger ones before attacking. Clarity and Progression - Unified end-of-floor summary combines XP collection, bonuses, totals, and performance. - Player confirmation is required before continuing. - New C/B/A/S performance stamp with an accompanying impact sound. - XP crystals visibly fly toward Cubi when collected. - More readable boss damage numbers and clearer critical hits. - Larger, centered JEOPARDI letter display. - Reduced visual clutter around Cubi during Adrenaline.
