Hello, dear players!
Here are the changes included in this hotfix update:
- Added various diplomatic events and related content.
- Fixed a bug that caused front lines to become obscured, improved the notification window for better usability, and optimized the code.
- Implemented various improvements suggested by players across multiple channels. (Added content available after occupying North Korea, fixed bugs in the national defense system—though there is still a long way to go..., fixed an issue where only the Gyeongbu Expressway was displayed on the map, fixed a bug where year-end debt was incorrectly included in the January settlement, improved UX related to regional development, and more.)
- Improved the National Assembly / Supreme Council UI.
- Added the ability to change the country's name.
- Fixed a bug that allowed related decisions to be taken before the establishment of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, and changed the system so that it can now be established through a single legislative action in the Supreme Council.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Chang Do-yong to be recruited before becoming Army Chief of Staff.
- Converted easy-to-miss decisions, such as participation in the Olympics and Asian Games, into events.
- Improved an issue where policy details and related information would immediately close as time progressed.
- Fixed a bug that caused stuttering when moving the mouse between policies.
- Decisions whose requirements have not yet been met will now display their expected effects.
- Long-term policies such as public housing projects have been moved to the Construction tab.
- Added new labor policy content.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the existing historical weighting system from functioning properly. (This system adjusts opposition support in Seoul, Honam, and other urban areas.)
- Added an event minimization feature. You can now temporarily minimize events and check other information.
- Added a red X indicator to decisions and options that cannot currently be selected or whose requirements have not been met.
- Fixed a bug that caused scroll positions to suddenly jump back to the top.
- Fixed various text-overlap issues across multiple UI elements. (If you find any areas I have still missed, please let me know!)
Since Update 1.06 will introduce successor-related content and extend the game through 1991—with Kim Dae-jung content planned for Update 1.1—I want to make sure the existing game is sufficiently stabilized and improved first. Because of that, even after this update, I will likely continue making improvements through smaller silent patches and hotfixes.
There ended up being quite a lot of changes for something called a “hotfix,” but... well, they are fixes to existing problems, so I suppose calling it a hotfix isn't that strange... right?
I hope you all have a wonderful day, and enjoy your time with the game!
