Version 1.05 Official Update

Hello, dear players!

After going through a period of beta testing, Version 1.05 brings far more changes than the previous 1.04 update.

Please also refer to the previous beta test announcements for the full list of changes! For now, here is a brief summary:

  1. UI improvements
  2. Fixes for reported bugs
  3. Map expansion into Southeast Asia and the addition of Vietnam War content
  4. Dedicated minigames added to major historical events, including the March 15 Election Fraud and the Kim Shin-jo Incident
  5. Ongoing improvements to the writing style of events
  6. Quality-of-life improvements to the defense system, which became rather complicated in Version 1.04
  7. Various chaebol corporations have been added, and the construction system has been divided into private and state-led construction. Companies will now reinvest profits earned from their various businesses into private construction projects.
  8. Added the ability to change the economic system, with five different economic systems available
  9. Additional content for the Yushin route
  10. Added a bond market system
  11. A large number of historical events and decisions have been added
  12. Added systems for the nationalization and privatization of industries
  13. Various UX and player convenience improvements
  14. After occupying North Korea or southern Manchuria and formally annexing the territory through a peace agreement, the map will now change to display those regions as part of Korea. Previously, occupied North Korean or southern Manchurian territory was only represented by a simple blue overlay.
  15. Added an Encyclopedia tab where you can easily look up information on characters, historical background, terminology, game routes, and more
  16. Various other features and additions

It looks like this is the first full update in about a week.

Although Version 1.05 went through beta testing, there are inevitably limits to how thoroughly I can handle QA as a solo developer. Because of that, the experiences and feedback shared by players have been, and continue to be, an enormous help!

As I mentioned before, I read and take into account the various reviews and feedback you leave, so please feel free to share your thoughts at any time!

For the next week or so, I plan to focus primarily on stabilizing Version 1.05 and fixing bugs. Development of Version 1.06 will then focus mainly on adding successor-era content covering 1980–1991, as well as continuing to improve the writing style of the game's events.

With that, I'll see you again in the next update.

Have a great day, everyone!
