Update 1.2 — Workshop, loadouts and the new Service Hatch

Your parts now belong to you, not to each car! Build up to three loadouts and use them on any car in your garage, switching with a single click. The new Workshop brings all your cars and the paint shop together in one place, and a new car arrives for those who like endurance: the Service Hatch.

🧰 Loadouts

  • Three sets of parts shared by all your cars.
  • Switch loadouts with the 1, 2 and 3 buttons in the Garage.
  • Each car remembers the last loadout it used.
  • Switching cars no longer strips anything: the new car starts with the loadout in use.

🔄 What happened to your parts

  • If you had parts on up to three cars, each one became a loadout.
  • With more than three, your three strongest sets were kept and the other parts went back to your Inventory.
  • No parts were lost, even if your Inventory ended up over its limit.

🏠 Workshop

  • New panel listing every car and its stats.
  • Click your car in the Garage to open the Workshop.
  • Activate, buy and paint your cars in the same place.

🚙 New car: Service Hatch

  • A service hatchback with a ladder on the roof and 150 Durability.
  • One-time purchase through Steam: the car is yours forever.
  • Shown at the top of the Workshop with the NEW badge.

💵 Prices in your currency

  • The price of VIP and the Service Hatch is shown on the button, before checkout.
  • Ten new currencies with local pricing: IDR, PHP, PLN, KRW, CAD, HKD, GBP, VND, UAH and CLP.

✨ Other improvements

  • New shadow under the cars during races.

Thank you for playing Desk Top Racer. See you on the track!
