The game is now digitally signed
Windows Smart App Control was blocking parts of the game. In the worst cases it refused to start at all, in others recording or exporting failed because a helper program was blocked. Every file that ships with the game now carries a signature, so Windows stops getting in the way.
Crash fixes
Fixed a crash in the lobby that could happen when the player list or the pack list rebuilt itself, for example after a kick or a new Workshop subscription Fixed a crash when switching lines while your microphone was being changed in the background Fixed crashes on the podium and in the Pack Creator caused by the same underlying problem Fixed a crash when the same Steam lobby was joined twice, which could happen when accepting an invite while the game was still starting
Microphone
The automatic repair no longer cuts off a microphone that has just started working If your input is set to Default and Windows delivers pure silence, the game now tries your other inputs and keeps the one that actually works The messages tell you the truth now. If the repair does not work, it says so instead of claiming everything is fine New hint when another program is holding on to your microphone
Pack Creator and Workshop
Packs now have a language, chosen when you create the pack When uploading to the Workshop, the language code is added to the title, for example or , and the description starts with a line listing the language, the number of lines and the number of roles. Players from other countries can finally tell what a pack is before subscribing Pack names ending in a dot no longer create a folder that Windows cannot delete
Role selection
The role list scrolls. With many roles you no longer have to resize the window to reach the last ones. Assign randomly is actually random now. Before, roles were handed out to players strictly in turn
Reports
The error report window now speaks your language. The reason line was always in German before
Thanks to everyone who sent in reports. Almost everything above came from them.
