Patch notes for version 0.940

With this update, you can save your progress! You can suspend/resume any game grouped by map size and difficulty, and your saves go on to the Steam cloud so you can play between systems and between Mac/PC formats too. When you press Escape or use the Quit button (on touch screen), you now have a third option to rest and resume later. This is your save game, so you can take a break. On the main menu, when you have the same map size and difficulty selected, instead of "Start Descent" it'll say "Resume Descent" along with your current level and remaining lives. If you decide you'd rather dump the save, resume the game, then quit but select to actually quit and not rest. That'll burn the save game ready for a fresh run.

The other update is light sources at distance being disabled to improve lighting quality and improve performance. This was more an issue on the larger maze sizes, but the fix covers all lights.

This update is on both Windows and Mac.

Thanks for playing Embermaze: Descent!
