Smoother, Harder-Hitting — Demo Update v1.1.2
Survivors!
This update overhauls how the game feels. No new content — but you'll notice the difference with every shot, every hit, and every escape.
Every weapon now has its own projectile. The pistol fires elongated capsule rounds, the SMG leaves thin, fast tracer streaks, and the shotgun blasts a true pellet spread. Muzzle flashes have been added, and projectiles now render clearly above the horde. Mines glow with a ground halo, visible even inside a crowd.
Hits land harder. Critical hits pop with real impact, and zombies now fade and disperse instead of vanishing in a single frame.
The screen now tells you when you're hurt. Taking damage in the middle of a horde triggers a red flash on the screen edges — a big difference, especially if you play with screen shake off.
Stutters during crowded moments are fixed. We tracked down the source of the brief freezes in dense scenes and fixed it at the root.
Also: smoother menu transitions and a fixed broken arrow character in the settings menu.
Stay alive out there! We'd love to hear your feedback.
