The HorrorVille Update

A haunted new map, a Halloween mask setting for the lobby, 19 Steam achievements, and smarter bots.

New Map: HorrorVille

• Sneak through a haunted mansion and its overgrown grounds. 24 valuables are hidden around the house and yard, with drop-offs at the front and back gates.

New Lobby Setting: Masks

• Turn on Masks in the lobby settings and everyone shows up to the heist in a Halloween mask, bots included.
• The lineup: a plague doctor, a demon, a light-up LED mask, and an alpaca that comes dressed up in glasses, a witch hat, a pirate hat, devil ears, a halo, a mohawk or an eyepatch.
• Masks reshuffle every round.
• A cloaked thief's mask vanishes with them, so masks never give a hidden thief away.
• Your own mask stays out of your view.

Steam Achievements

19 achievements to hunt down, including one for collecting all the others.

Getting Started

• First Day on the Job: Finish a match.
• Sticky Fingers: Bank your first valuable.
• Long Arm of the Law: Take down a thief as an Officer.
• Grand Tour: Finish a match on Juketown, Robblestone, Mallhalla and Sandbag.

Thief

• Nothing But Net: Throw a valuable into a drop-off from at least two body lengths away.
• One-Man Heist: Bank more than $30 yourself in a single round.
• Blue Collar Crime: Have all three blue valuables in your team's bank at once.
• Ghost: Win as a Thief after banking 3 valuables without being taken down.
• Adrenaline Rush: Bank a valuable within 3 seconds of getting knifed.

Officer

• Caught Red-Handed: Take down a thief who's carrying a valuable.
• Pounce: Take down a thief right after a Hunter Dash.
• Repo Man: As the Officers, reclaim 3 banked valuables in one round.
• Zero Tolerance: Win as the Officers with the Thieves under $15.

Map Secrets

• Bringing a Shotgun to a Knife Fight: Bank the Double-Barrel Shotgun on Juketown.
• Heavy Is the Head: Bank the Crown on Robblestone.
• Steal the Band: Bank the Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet and Amplifier on Mallhalla in one round.
• Brain Drain: Bank the Brain on Sandbag.

Just for Fun

• Lanky Landing: Get taken down by fall damage.
• Lanky Legend: Unlock every other achievement.

Bots

• Bots no longer grab valuables through floors and ceilings. They now have to reach the item's own floor and see it first.
• Bots now come in a mix of outfits instead of all wearing the same one.

Fixes

• Valuables you throw into a drop-off now count toward your personal score, not just the ones you carry in.
