0.1.10 - QOL and Fixes

This update is focused primarily on fixes. We adjusted material flow, machine behavior, and player movement while making important construction information easier to read.

Key fixes

  • Horizontal Conveyors now keep filling open spaces around isolated obstructions. Only a truly full and stalled section enters the jammed state, with a dedicated animation that makes the problem easy to spot.
  • Filters placed in a batch now keep the selected material and mode correctly, even while their construction is still reserved.
  • The Sucker now fills an entire connected stack of Vertical Conveyors and stops at the correct point when it reaches a Vertical Filter. The Clay Extruder also recognizes ingredients precisely inside the displayed input area.
  • Jetpack collision has been fixed so you can cross machines and loose materials without getting stuck. Ball form now has smaller collision bounds aligned with its visuals, and the Payment Signal no longer behaves like a floor or obstacle for the player.
  • The hotbar once again restores all nine saved slots correctly, and research buttons now follow your available balance without requiring the screen to be reopened.

Clearer construction

  • Placement previews now highlight production-machine inputs in green and outputs in red, along with the Sucker range and dump zone. The Bucket preview is easier to see as well.
  • Machine details now show their size and production or transport capacity per second.
  • A new configurable key cycles the construction grid between 24 px, 48 px, and hidden. The Pipe Remover has also moved beside the liquid tools.

Money and movement

  • Sales now arrive in the world as physical coins through the Payment Signal. They have their own sounds, can be transported and filtered, and remain preserved in your save. Persistent alerts warn you when the signal is missing or its drop area is blocked.
  • Holding Shift increases movement speed. Running, jumping, and airborne movement have also received new animation adjustments.
  • We also updated the Industrial Filter artwork and the Payment Signal smoke.
