Major Exam Update: 1.10.7

We've made some pretty big improvements to PENCILS DOWN, with more questions, better variety, new accessibility options, and several fixes based on your feedback.

AUDIO

* We've lowered the volume of the main scare. It was louder than it needed to be, so we've brought it down to a safer level while keeping the impact. * There's also a new Reduced Sudden Noise option under Accommodations if you'd prefer sudden sounds to be even quieter.

QUESTIONS

* The question pool has more than doubled since launch, with new questions across general knowledge, science, history, popular culture, red ink questions, and Section D. * Math questions are now generated fresh for each examination, with difficulty matching the form you're taking. * The game now remembers questions from your recent attempts, so you're much less likely to get the same ones again on your next run. * We also found and removed a few questions that had accidentally appeared more than once.

CURRICULUM MODULES

* Popular Culture and Local History can now appear on every form instead of only Standard Administration. * Willow Creek questions are now limited per examination, giving other subjects more room to appear. * Curriculum modules can now be equipped or removed from rotation through the School Store, just like aids. Unlocking one is still permanent, but you can choose whether you want it active for a particular run.

SECTIONS C AND D

* Sections C and D can now remember more of what happened during your examination, including erased answers, time spent standing at the door, chalkboard changes, and sections where you ran out of time. * This should give the later sections more variety and make them respond more closely to how each run actually went.

FIXES

* Fixed an issue where pressing space during the chalkboard break could leave the camera stuck over your paper. * Fixed two math questions that could produce incorrectly rounded answers. * Cleaned up some wording throughout the booklet and answer sheet.

Thanks to everyone who's been playing and sending us feedback, especially those who reported the scare volume. We appreciate you speaking up about it, and we'll keep listening as we continue improving the game. Cheers!
