Fixed an Issue That Caused Some Sound Effects to Stop Unexpectedly
We have fixed an issue that could cause certain sound effects—including the player's shot, laser charging, and laser firing sounds—to stop playing unexpectedly.
Battle Marine Advance! uses a custom sound driver to play sound effects through the GBA's raw PCM audio system. This system has two channels, and all of the affected sound effects are played on channel 2.
We found a bug that incorrectly stopped channel 2's playback timer whenever a sound effect was played on channel 1. As a result, sound effects on channel 2 could be cut off at unintended times.
This patch corrects that behavior.
