Hello World!

A Few Words Before You Step Into RE:DREAM

This is not a traditional game. RE:DREAM is a visual art project first, built on top of a game engine. There is no objective to complete, no puzzle to solve, no score to chase. The "gameplay" is intentionally minimal: you walk, you look, and you find photographs woven into three dreamlike worlds.

What you're actually here to experience Each world holds photographs of real people, brought into the game through photogrammetry, then rebuilt as physical sets in real life and photographed there. The game is the bridge between those two spaces: a way of presenting photography as something you walk through rather than just look at. If you go in expecting a horror walk, a comedy walk, or a puzzle-driven mystery, RE:DREAM will feel like it's not delivering — because that was never the goal.

How to approach it

  • Don't look for a "correct" path or a way to "win." There isn't one.
  • Slow down. The pacing is deliberate, closer to wandering through a gallery than playing a level.
  • Treat each world as a space to notice things in, not a puzzle to decode.
  • A single playthrough is short (well under an hour) — it's meant to be a brief, contained experience, not a long game session.

Known issue: falling through the map A few players have run into this. Just follow the game through the points of interests.

If it's still not for you, that's okay This is a niche, personal art piece, not a mass-market walking sim, and it won't click for everyone — that's fine. I'd rather you know that going in than feel misled after 12 minutes.
