Update v1.2.0 | Main Menu Overhaul, Iron Creek Sofas & QoL Improvements

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to Update 1.2.0! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback, playthrough streams, and community posts. Today’s patch focuses on community-requested quality-of-life adjustments, level balancing, and giving you more tactical options when navigating the threats of Iron Creek.

Whether you’ve been looking for better ways to duck away from the Blake family or tired of repetitive UI popups during level transitions, this patch is packed with fixes to make your experience smoother and more immersive.

Here is the full breakdown of everything included in today’s build:

🚀 Major Overhauls & Systems Main Menu Redesign: The main menu has received a total visual and functional overhaul for improved responsiveness, clearer UI navigation, and a sleeker overall feel.

Truck System Rebalance: Refined truck handling physics and rebalanced vehicle mechanics across levels to deliver smoother driving and easier accessibility.

🗺️ World & Exploration Sofa Wait System: Added interactive sofas across various locations in Iron Creek. You can now pass time strategically to evade Blake family patrols and plan your moves safely.

New Save Points: Added two additional save locations to give you extra checkpoints in critical areas:

Tom's Hideout

Secret Lab Cabin Entrance

🏬 Quality of Life & Map Adjustments Lucky 66 Supplies Revamp: Decluttered the general store counter by removing excessive wooden boxes and repositioned Molly's computer so it is much easier to access and inspect.

🐛 Bug Fixes Inventory Notification Loop: Resolved an issue where an inventory item's pickup banner would repeatedly trigger every time you swapped levels.

Thank you all for your continued support, bug reports, and constructive feedback! Please keep sharing your thoughts with us in the Steam Discussions and on our official Discord server.

Safe travels,

Team at DarkShift Interactive.
