Offline Captions
- Added fully offline speech-to-text captions for exported clips.
- Captions run locally on your PC. No cloud upload, account, or internet connection is required.
- Added automatic language detection and manual speech-language selection.
- Added three caption styles: **Minimal**, **Impact**, and **Focus**.
- Added Small, Medium, and Large text sizes plus Normal and UPPERCASE modes.
- Added optional `.srt` sidecar export.
- Added **Review Text** so detected speech can be corrected before export without changing its timing.
- Caption transcripts are cached locally, making repeated exports faster.
## Visual Caption Editor
- Captions can now be positioned directly inside the Branding Preview with the mouse.
- Caption placement uses normalized coordinates, so the exported position matches the preview at every output resolution.
- Removed the old position preset control and its hidden offsets.
- Added a custom accent color for **Impact** and **Focus** caption styles with instant live preview.
## Caption Reliability
- Added visible preparation and transcription progress before video rendering begins.
- Fixed caption timing drift caused by source-video timestamps.
- Fixed an issue where captions could appear on the first exported clip but be missing from later clips.
- Each selected clip now receives its own correctly aligned local caption timeline.
- Caption failures are isolated: when possible, the affected clip continues exporting with a clear warning instead of failing the entire batch.
## Clip Heat
- Added a clear **Clip Heat** rating to every detected highlight.
- Moments are rated from **LOW SIGNAL** to **MUST POST** with a consistent 0-100 score.
- Added short reasons explaining why a moment scored highly, including audio energy, clustered peaks, brightness flashes, and silence buildup.
- Clip Heat uses ZaZaCut's existing deterministic detection data. It does not use AI to judge gameplay footage.
## Hardware Encoding
- Added **AMD AMF** hardware encoding support alongside NVIDIA NVENC and CPU x264.
- ZaZaCut now tests whether a hardware encoder can actually start on the current PC before selecting it.
- If NVIDIA or AMD hardware encoding fails during export, ZaZaCut automatically retries that render with CPU x264.
- Improved export reliability across PCs with unsupported, unavailable, or partially configured GPU encoders.
## Branding Fixes
- Fixed **Merge Logo & CTA** in 9:16 Gameplay exports.
- Alternating Logo and CTA overlays now render consistently across selected clips.
## Additional Improvements
- Original-format exports automatically re-encode only when burned captions require it.
- Original mode keeps its fast stream-copy path when captions are disabled.
- Added multilingual caption fonts and localized caption controls for every supported interface language.
- Expanded automated coverage for caption rendering, timelines, preview placement, hardware fallback, and multi-clip export.
