Patch 0.3.2 — the paperwork is now on Steam
Not a content patch: no new jobs, no new tools. This one wires the game into Steam properly — achievements, a leaderboard per job, markers on your own recordings, and a friends-list line that says which building you are standing next to.
Achievements
- Twelve achievements. Nine are on the list:
- Permit Approved — complete your first job.
- Licensed Contractor — complete every job in the campaign.
- By the Book — three stars on any job.
- Not a Scratch — three stars with a collateral score of exactly zero, on a job with something worth protecting.
- Fully Issued — have all five tools issued to you.
- Top Shelf — upgrade any tool to its highest tier.
- Under Par — three stars on a Clean Sweep job using fewer charges than par.
- One and Done — three stars from a single charge on a job that issued you at least three.
- First Try — complete every campaign job on the first attempt. No restarts, no failed rounds.
- Three are hidden. Those are for you to find. We are not describing them.
Leaderboards
- One board per campaign job, seven in all. Ranked by lowest collateral; ties go to whoever used fewer shots. Any completed round counts, whatever the star result.
- Your score is filed when you leave the job, not when the round ends, so restarting costs you nothing.
- The results card shows where you stand, with a ten-row table and a GLOBAL / FRIENDS toggle. Level Select shows your rank on every job. The boards are also on the game's Steam community hub.
Recording markers
- If you have Steam Game Recording switched on, the game marks the recording for you: one marker per shot (tool, tier, charges left), one phase per round tagged with the job and how it ended, and a three-star finish is offered to Steam as a suggested clip.
- This only shows for players with Game Recording on in Steam (Steam ▸ Settings ▸ Game Recording). It is off by default, and nothing changes if you leave it off.
Friends list
- Your status now says where you are. "In the permit office" in the menus. "On site: THE CORE" on a job. "THE CORE — signed off ★★" when the round resolves. "THE CORE — permit revoked" when it does not.
Performance report
- Add -perfreport to the game's launch options (Steam ▸ Library ▸ right-click DEMO IT ▸ Properties ▸ Launch Options). Every finished job then writes a report — average fps, 1 % low, worst frame, hardware, settings — to the Reports folder next to your F8 reports (%USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalLowCrossAge StudioDemo ItReports).
- The F8 bug report carries the last round's numbers on its own, flag or no flag. If your machine is on the lower end, we would like to hear from you: play a job, press F8, send. That is what this is for.
Under the hood
- Progess saving has been moved! But don't worry, that doesn't mean we wrecked your scores! Next time you start your game, all your stars will be present. Upgrading the save-system will pave the way to even greater things!
Found something? Press F8
Anywhere in the game. It grabs the frame, the job state, your system info and now the last round's performance line, and drops it where we read it. If a rank looks wrong or an achievement did not fire when it should have, tell us which job.
