DEMO IT! Official Early Access Release
Today is the day! The official release of CrossAge Studio's (my) first game — DEMO IT!
Ready to teach your neighbor the proper placement of a shed? Did you sign off on the forms you totally didn't make up, and hijack an orbital laser to precisely destroy everything but the rundown office building?
Then congratulations. You're hired.
The job
DEMO IT! is a physics demolition puzzle. You are handed a structure that needs to come down and a set of comically oversized tools to do it with.
The catch: nobody is grading you on how much you destroy. They're grading you on how little of everything else you take with it.
Bring the building down. Leave the neighborhood standing. Collect your stars. Buy bigger tools. Do it again, worse.
The arsenal
- Blast — the honest one. Point, charge, remove.
- Pocket Singularity — pulls a structure in on itself, then lets go.
- Wrecking Ball — directional, heavy, deeply unsubtle.
- Shaped Charge — place several, detonate them all at once. No outward blast at all, which makes it the surgeon of the set.
- Orbital Laser — hold the trigger and carve. It keeps firing as long as you keep paying for it.
Every tool upgrades across three tiers, and you choose which ones to carry into a job. The right answer is rarely "the biggest one."
What's in Early Access
- Six hand-built jobs — from a garden shed with an unfortunate lean to a condemned city block.
- Two free-play sandboxes, unlocked once you've cleared the campaign. No budget, no scoring, no supervisor. Just a fully destructible block and whatever you brought.
- A star economy — stars are the currency. Three-star a job and you can afford the tool that would have made it easy.
- Objectives beyond "flatten it" — drop the rubble inside the cordon, topple a tower in a chosen direction, or strip a building's mass while keeping its face standing.
Why Early Access
Because it's one person, and the destruction is the kind of system that gets better with a few hundred people finding the ways it can be broken. The game is complete and playable end to end — Early Access is about tuning, more jobs,

Feedback goes to the forums or the Discord. I read all of it.
Thank you to everyone who watched this thing come together. Now go ruin some property.
