Daily War 0.20.4 — Phone play is steadier and easier to read
🔄 Changes
- The talent tree zooms in twice as far on a phone — a node's icon and the rule under it are readable on a small screen.
- The island zooms in to four tiles on a phone — the same close view on a starter board and on a fully expanded one.
- The tile in hand shows a bigger model and more of its stats — a phone has no pointer to raise a tooltip, so the card is where you read them.
- The casualty report is easier to read on a phone — larger text, centred on the screen instead of running off the bottom.
🔧 Fixes
- The game no longer runs out of memory on a phone — 3D models are freed as you move between screens, instead of building up until the phone closes the game.
- Pinch to zoom now works across the whole talent tree — it answered only on the gaps between nodes, and pinching over a node moved the tree instead.
- No preview tile is left behind when you place one by touch — lifting your finger clears it, and the tile stays in hand for the next tap.
⚙️ Under the hood
- Cleaner error reporting — a request that succeeds without sending anything back is no longer reported as a failure.
