Daily War 0.20.0 — Grow your island where you choose
✨ New
- Expand your island — every 10 levels earns an expansion. Spend it north, south, east or west to grow the board 3 tiles that way, five in all.
- Land Grab — a new shop card raising your tile cap by 10. Buy it as often as you can afford; the price climbs each time and it never sells back.
- The whole Desert set — the season track runs to 25 tiers, paying out every Desert model in turn, ordered by tile cost and ending on the Mortar Cannon.
- A hundred bot opponents — the roster more than doubled, so there is a learnable island at every rung of the ladder, right to the top.
⚖️ Balance
- The purse is a share of what you beat — winning pays 25% of the loser's island value, so a fortress pays what a fortress is worth.
- A draw pays both sides — half of what a win would have paid each of you, where before it paid nobody.
- Rank no longer sizes your board — the buildable area comes from the expansions you earn and spend, so a rating drop can never cost you space.
- Everyone starts on 50 tiles — the cap is flat now, plus 10 for every Land Grab, instead of climbing with your rank.
- Bots buy their ground too — their expansions and tile cap come out of the same money their guns do, so a wider bot island is guns it chose not to buy.
🔄 Changes
- Wearing a palette fields its models — equipping Desert now switches every Desert model you own, instead of picking each slot by hand.
- Shop cards show your stack — a corner badge counts how many you hold of a card that is bought more than once.
- Battle money floats once — the purse arrives at the end of the replay; the amounts over your own fallen buildings are your losses being refunded.
🔧 Fixes
- Tall tiles answer the right press — pressing the top half of a wall or tower used to select the cell behind it. Worst on touch, where nothing highlights the cell first.
