1.26 update of GON: God Of Nothing
Welcome to 1.26 update of GON: God Of Nothing!
HARD MODE REWORK:
less items, Roku is faster and stalking you much sooner, you'll need to use skulls as there is not enough bio samples laying around anymore.
OTHER CHANGES AND FIXES:
Bell item has been removed as it was causing various bugs and frame drops, it will be reworked before going back in the game, as it will be a key item for upcoming outfit achievement!
Hit detection on Roku has been improved - less items flying through her, also 2 bugs have been solved:
- her hitboxes won't turn off anymore
- she won't freeze when hit with too many items (she still might, but there's new code that brings her back if it happens)
Using hiding spots provides small amount of heal now.
Small performance improvements connected to camera filters.
Flashlight has a wider beam now, to improve visibility in darker areas.
Bug where wine wouldn't make Roku drunk in hard mode has been fixed.
Fixed the lack of text under +ALL OUT+ achievement required to unlock Bunny2.
There's an emblem added to victory screen in hard mode, so now you can show off your high score to others! (game will never be fully competitive, but as we have speed runs now, it's a neat addition I think)
General item rebalance, so strongest items are more evenly spread out, and there is less 'trash cubes' to save some performance and make it easier to grab important things.
also Roku's back to wandering around in menu screen :)
FUTURE: There are few new skins and achievements coming soon, as well as new animations and reworked bell, content patch should happen within a week! afterwards I'm planning to get back to work on a lightweight level and more localizations.
