Update 1.3 COOP:«Shared Skies»

Intercept Line 1.3 — COOP: "Shared Skies"

You no longer have to hold the skies over Ukraine alone. Update 1.3 adds a co-op mode for 2–4 players: a shared campaign, a shared HQ, and every player acting at the same time — from air defense to strikes on enemy defenses.

Play together

Create a lobby in Steam or join an open server from the list. Invite friends, protect your server with a password, and let newcomers in only after the host approves them. Both phases of the game, defense and attack, run simultaneously, and every player acts at their own pace.

Your airbase, your aircraft

At the start of the game, each player picks two airbases. Their aircraft and units get the player's color and an owner label. You can control only your own units, so nobody can ruin someone else's route. The host can kick or ban disruptive players.

Teamwork tools

  • Map pings (middle mouse button) — show your squad "right here" without long explanations; everyone sees and hears them
  • Teammate cursors — see where the team is looking, and when a player is off-screen, a pointer shows the direction
  • Text chat in the lobby and in-game (the "/" key)
  • Player menu on TAB: color, Steam avatar, nickname, airbase and ping
  • Player leaves mid-game — the host decides: continue without them (their units become shared) or end the game

New for every mode

  • Autosave every 5 minutes into a dedicated slot
  • Controls cheat sheet (F1) and full key rebinding with conflict highlighting
  • Campaign calendar: day 1 is 01.09.2023, then it follows the real calendar
  • Strike weapon stockpiles on the top bar are live and grouped (drones, cruise missiles, ballistic)
  • Selected strike stats update in real time
  • Smooth transition between icons and sprites when zooming the map
  • Russian S-400 systems now have a magazine and a reload time

Sound

Layered sound for ATACMS and Flamingo missiles (far, mid, near), distinct cannons for the F-16, MiG-29/Su-27 and Mirage 2000, object hit sounds, and new pilot voice lines: flares, low fuel and stall.

Optimization

Network synchronization has been reworked: lower traffic and more stable play on weaker connections, plus less load from strike routes and mobile air defense.

Gather your squad — see you in the sky!
