Patch 1.0.5: Connection improvements and fixes
Patch 1.0.5
Connection
- Short connection drops no longer disconnect you from the server, and the game reconnects on its own within seconds when the connection comes back.
- If your session expires (after several days with the game open), the game now logs you back in automatically instead of staying offline until you restart.
- Runs that couldn't be sent because of a connection drop (leaderboard or tournament) are now saved and sent as soon as the connection returns, instead of being lost.
- The Tournament window no longer loses the standings during a disconnection, and it now shows a "No server connection" notice.
Tournaments
- A tournament run started on the current version now always counts, even if an update comes out in the middle of it.
- If your game is out of date, pressing Participate or Play now tells you to update the game, instead of showing a connection error.
Fixes
- Abandoning a run from the main menu now submits it, just like surrendering: it counts for the leaderboard or tournament, your run history, your stats and guild missions.
- The Steam purchase dialog (and the store page) no longer appears cut off between two monitors.
- The Tournament window no longer briefly shows Spanish text before switching to your language.
