Patch 1 – Visual, Gameplay & Atmosphere Improvements

Thank you to everyone who has played Beguiled Egress and shared feedback! This first update focuses on improving gameplay clarity, atmosphere, visual quality, and overall polish. Gameplay & Interaction - Added a new interaction prompt that displays when the player is within range of an interactable object, replacing the previous glow-based feedback. - Improved physics-object behavior and added sound feedback when interacting with physics objects. - Overhauled collision handling throughout the game for more consistent behavior between phases. - Fixed several additional collision issues throughout the environment. - Fixed a door that could interfere with player progression. - Fixed a potential progression blocker involving the stove puzzle after it had already been completed. Visuals & Atmosphere - Improved lighting throughout the game for stronger atmosphere and visual clarity. - Added additional ambient audio throughout the experience. - Improved overall environmental presentation and atmosphere. - Fixed several missing or incorrect materials throughout the environment. Performance & Polish - Made additional performance and optimization improvements. - Various smaller fixes and polish improvements throughout the game. Thank you again for playing and for the feedback. Beguiled Egress will continue receiving additional improvements and environmental polish in future updates.
