1.1.1 Camera Bounds, Multi-NPC Collision Avoidance, and QoL Improvements!
Hey everyone! Update 1.1.1 introduces NPC to NPC collisions with Multi-NPC collision avoidance, setting camera bounds in map, fixes around camera actions, and adds some QoL improvements to the editor! Full changelog below:
Camera actions
- Added a Set Camera Bounds action. - Added position offsets and an option to attach the camera to a character in the Move Camera action. - Grouped transition options for Reset Camera Position and Reset Camera Zoom, and added easing and wait for completion options. - Removed the Focus option from Zoom Camera. - Fixed Reset Camera Position and Reset Camera Zoom to follow the player. - Fixed camera actions being limited by map bounds determined from edge tiles in map.
NPCs and event triggers
- Added NPC-to-NPC collisions, collision avoidance, and options to control what NPCs collide with. - Fixed touch triggers being blocked while an NPC was following the player. - Fixed event trigger previews attached to NPCs not accounting for NPC movement in the action list. - Fixed the cursor not changing on the trigger attached to NPC radius outline. - Removed the NPC outline in Add Event Trigger when the trigger is attached to an NPC.
Dialogue, choices, and input
- Added mouse press and release triggers. - Added the `@name` dialogue command. - Added text outline options to typography settings. - Added the ability to change the layout in the Choices action. - Added drag to reorder choices in the Choices action.
Editor improvements
- Added drag to reorder maps in the map dropdown. - Grouped transition options and added an option to disable transitions. - Made input steps consistent for time values in milliseconds. - Renamed Character to NPC where appropriate. - Fixed the active map editor tool resetting when entering playtest from the Events tab. - Fixed the True/false dropdown being too narrow. - Fixed a rare ID parsing error when creating an autotile.
