Where IKANDY is headed (from the dev)
Hi, wanted to say something in my own words.
Building IKANDY has been really fun and really difficult. My whole goal is to make something different, and this thing is massive. But, if there's something you don't like, that's on me, 100%.
For anyone curious where it's going, this is my roadmap, in order.
- Visuals. The foundation is set, the visuals are not. Right now I'm 100% focused on the visual layer and unifying it. It's very difficult, but I think we can all agree the amount of adjusting needed per preset is obnoxious, and I want that gone.
- Create. I want IKANDY to be a platform for art, and I want to let you do something that's never been done. I have an idea, more on that when it's real.
- UI unification. I hate this one, but I use this app a lot so I feel the pain points too. Some of you went through massive UI changes the past two months and I won't put you through that again, so this will be smaller steps that just make things easier.
- Studio. It's about 70% done, and honestly I can't give you a timeframe. I can't keep up maintenance on both and keep building it at the same time, so it waits until the stuff above is in better shape.
The people who already bought IKANDY come first and free users benefit as well. That's where my time goes.
Don't know if anyone reads these, but if you do and something here bugs you, or there's something you want, post below or message me. This is supposed to be fun, and I'll see how I can help.
