Build 430. The big one.
This update rebuilds three core systems based on your feedback. Thanks for all of it. Keep it coming.
New Build Wheel
The old build tray is gone. Press B or right click to open the new radial build menu. Everything lives in five groups:
- Build
- Amenities
- Mining Rigs
- Utilities
- Decoration
Hover a group and it opens on its own. No more hunting through a bar of tiny icons.

Your orders matter now
- Rooms finish in the order you place them. First ordered, first built.
- Diggers no longer wander off mid job.
- When a digger takes a break you see a small pause badge, so nobody looks stuck.
Tubes got smart
- The tube line you draw is the tube you get.
- A tube that hits a dead end now connects to the nearest tunnel instead of wrapping around half the map.
- Drag straight down a shaft and it becomes a rail.
- With Hyper Tubes grown, long runs move Bobbitz 6x faster.
- Tubes now have proper corner pieces.
- Crews can walk inside a finished section to keep building the rest, so long runs actually finish.
Water works
- Pipes need a real source. Run them from a faucet to a tank, or straight to your farms.
- Branch new pipes off existing ones.
- Shift drag to erase, Z to undo.
- The burrow owns one watering can, so big farms need real plumbing.
- Thirsty planters droop, then bounce back once watered.
Performance
The Steam build now uses your GPU properly. If the game felt capped around 30 FPS before, this should be night and day. I also cut a lot of wasted rendering underground and at high zoom.
Fixes
- Stalled diggers
- Silent tube refusals
- Stray tube cells left behind on refused orders
- Wrong tree descriptions
- A pile of smaller things
If something in here breaks for you, tell me in the discussions and I will look at it.
