Ver 1.0.4a - New Crate, Volcano Rune, Map Randomization Tweak, Other Minor fixes
Ver 1.0.4a Patchnotes:
- New Crate: "Target Crate"
- Unlock by triggering a regenerative enemy, a toxic enemy, and a charger enemy in the same run.
- Can Trigger these by touching the relevant combinations -- for example, touching a ruby and a copper together for the regenerative enemy.
[/*][*]
Effect is hidden, but overall the crate may be a little on the easy side.
[/*][*]
(Forge Combo is when you have 2 or more forges on the same drop.)
[/*][/*]
- Volcano Rune is now unlockable. You can unlock it by beating Volcano Crate at depth 1. (No particular notification.)
- If you previously beat Volcano Crate at depth 1, it should be available immediately.
- The art is somewhat placeholder.
[/*]
- Map Randomization now takes place on ANY depth 1 run, unless you play a tutorial.
- In other words, everyone's first run is the same map, but after that it's using randomization
- Previously, I kept all Depth 1 maps exactly the same to ensure a "good" distribution, but as many players have not tried Depth 2, it made the game feel too static.
[/*]
- Mystery Bag now goes a step further, and has a PURE random map (except fixed combats). That is, you can have 2 gold nodes in a row, or two heals in a row, or two handle shops in a row, etc.
- In addition, Mystery Bag hides certain nodes until you get to them.
- Please let me know what you think about this map randomization / if you wish for more randomization in maps in general.
- Thank you The Cat's Eye Nebula for raising these issues regarding map randomization.
[/*]
- A new "debuff" rune might now be encountered in special circumstances or depths. The "Chain Rune":
- Chain Rune: Cannot Forge. Start Turn: Remove Chain Rune.
- Thank you to The Badlands on Discord for raising the issue (along with one of the bugs below) and working through the idea.

[ MINOR ]
- Queens insignia handle was only giving 2 trash instead of 3, now fixed. Thank you Blueywoons in the discord for raising this bug!
- A certain character could have their equipment inspected with right click, when they shouldn't be able to. Now fixed.
- Sometimes when mousing over items during the shop transition, they could become misaligned. This should now be fixed.
- Some other even more minor stuff not worth mentioning.
