Welcome to Needle In A Haystack - A Time For Goats!

Hello everyone! A big welcome to Needle in a Haystack - A Time For Goats! Firstly, we hope you enjoy the game! We’ve been working hard on Needle in a Haystack for a while now, since early May 2026.

We decided to set out and make this game and are very aware that since then, multiple hay games have surfaced and tweets have gotten super popular.

We want to let everyone know that this is a crazy coincidence and not us copying ideas.

We were already months into production when this all happened. We thought that it would be a good idea that we share both our SteamDB data and even our Perforce logs to show that this is the case. Therefore we have provided that below to settle any doubts.

Ultimately, we hope this shows in the game. We decided to just keep working hard and launch the game. When we saw that duplicate names started appearing on Steam we contacted Valve to also change the name of the game.
