v0.1.81 Patch Notes
This update fixes a batch of co-op problems where the two screens didn't match or controls got stuck. Most importantly, it fixes what made the game look frozen when the host had Vision.
- The item inspect window could not be closed, freezing the game - The Movement player now picks items up with E, and either player can close the window with Esc (B on a controller).
- When the host had Vision, using items (shooting, swinging, flashlight, syringe) and throwing didn't work - No matter who hosts, Vision now uses items and Movement throws them.
- The safe code window only appeared on one screen - It now appears on both screens, and the Movement player enters the code.
- The Movement player couldn't step back from the clock or the info board - Scrolling the info board now shows the same lines on both screens too.
- The player who joined the room couldn't close the pause menu with Esc
- An NPC that turned hostile could stand frozen on one screen
- Chairs in a room could show up on only one screen - Players no longer get blocked by a chair they can't see.
- Thrown or dropped items could land in different spots on each screen
- The view could differ slightly between screens when standing right against a wall
- After using a syringe, it stayed in hand on the other screen - The healing effect now shows on both screens.
- When the Movement player crouched, the other screen's view didn't drop - Sprinting and crouching also didn't work when the player who joined had Movement. Fixed.
- The exit gate's "not enough keys" notice and NPC refusal lines showed on only one screen
- You can now mute your own mic - Use My Mic at the top of Voice in the in-game menu (Esc, or Start on a controller). The setting carries over to your next run.
- Untranslated text fixed - The pause menu title and the room creation and quick match notices now show in your language.
- Removed hidden shortcuts left over from development.
